FICTION 2023 – Novelty – Awards Ceremony
The Festival de la Fiction de La Rochelle is a television festival created in 1999, it rewards french language and internationnal fictions. There is twenty five works in the competition and five works outside the competion, more than two thousand professionals and thirty five thousand spectators gather for more than sixty projections. The festival lasts a week, with an opening and a closing ceremony.
I designed all the visuals for both ceremonies, and been able to incorporate some generative content for the background. Background visuals were generated live in touchdesigner in 3D with live changes of states and colors, and live communication with the light desk. on top of the live background were composited all the awards, ensuring a constant video flow, and a fluid experience for the spectators.
By both doing the motion design and it’s restitution on site, i’m able to build media strategies, playing with the abilities of the Modulo Players provided by NOVELTY, to ensure optimal use of time during rehearsals and good quality on the displays.
